Embankment is a two-phased Grade A BREEAM Excellent commercial office scheme sitting over a 442 space car park and fringed with retail and workspace units. The development is part of a wider masterplan and a strategic priority within Salford’s regeneration framework to bring about the renaissance of the wider Greengate neighbourhood by creating a new corporate centre, and providing seamless access across the twin cities of Salford and Manchester.
The first phase at 101 Embankment completed in December 2016 and is fully let to Swinton Insurance Group bringing 1,500 staff to the area. The second phase at 100 Embankment will start on site in spring 2018 with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2020. Providing 166,000 sq ft of prime office space over ground plus 8 floors, when occupied the building has the capacity to accommodate a further 1,500 workers.
