The Salford Crescent and Salford University masterplan is one of the most substantial investment opportunities in Greater Manchester.  The area is located directly adjacent to the successful, multi award winning, Salford Central area of Chapel Street and New Bailey, which is in the latter stages of a 12 year £650m programme of investment.

Salford’s next strategic growth opportunity of the Salford Crescent and University masterplan area consists of 99 ha of city centre real estate, which is largely in Salford City Council and Salford University ownership.

The masterplan consists of 225 buildings, 25 ha of open space, 20,000 students, 166,250sqm academic real estate 1367 student beds on campus, 1820 committed residential units.

Potential exists to deliver significant levels of new residential and commercial development, along with an improved heritage and cultural offer which takes advantage of the wealth of heritage, cultural and green and blue assets across the area.
